ENG – LS is the acronym of Large Spectrum. It is the most successful shape of the Windproject Didgeridoo catalogue.
This shape was born in 2003 by a pure coincidence. I curved an F / F keyed didgeridoo from a chestnut log. Then, I realized a wide range of keys (from C to G) starting from that prototype.
The LS shape have always guaranteed a great playability since the first try. Simply amazing. A brilliant color tone has been appreciated by students as well as for professional players for solo playing as well has for playing in a band.
A newest evolution of this shape has been calculated using a software to predict the harmonics following our knowledge. We worked for:
– a moderately bigger bell (then a better presence and warmer sound)
– a better back pressure: a bit less than the old shape but with a better tactile feeling
– a larger bore (about 2mm) to add a greater sound character, a rounder sound and better vocal effects
– an improved shape for easier demolding. So doing we can maintain the same price as 8 years ago!

Nacque nel 2003 per una casualità dovuta alla tipica fortuna del principiante, con cui realizzai un didgeridoo in Fa, primo toot in Fa, ricavato da un fusto in castagno della Val Pellice. Su di essa realizzai tutte le forme per tonalità in Do, Do#, Re, Re#, Mi, Fa. Fa#, Sol.
Questo tipo di forma ha sempre garantito una suonabilità eccellente e quindi una confidenza eccellente sin dal primo momento in cui si inizia a suonarlo.
Il suo suono, è sempre stato apprezzato da principianti e professionisti. Una campana contenuta rende il suono pulito, brillante e comprensibile in ogni genere musicale, in un solo, ma anche in band.
Oggi l’evoluzione di questa forma è stata calcolata con software di predizione delle armoniche e ridisegnata per avere ancora migliori caratteristiche:
– campana moderatamente maggiore (quindi maggior presenza e suono più caldo)
– migliore back pressure, di poco minore ma con una sensazione tattile migliorata
– un diametro interno di 2 mm maggiore per un maggior carattere, rotondità, migliori effetti vocali
– una forma migliorata per un più semplice distacco dallo stampo e quindi poter mantenere lo stesso prezzo dopo addirittura 8 anni!
